It’s my 3-month anniversary here on Medium. Here’s all the dumb stuff I’ve done so far!
I followed everyone I found interesting
With great enthusiasm, I read and commented and followed. I agreed with some people and wanted to support them. I disagreed with some people but thought their point of view was interesting and different. I followed good writers. When the news popped up that we need 100 followers, I followed people who had fewer.
The result? I’m following over 800 at the moment. Ooops.
Then I unfollowed some folks, but just as that was happening, the follow-for-follow controversy emerged in my consciousness. Yikes. I have a lot of reading to do.
I chose a really inappropriate picture by accident
I accidentally put a picture of a child’s lap on a post about eating pussy. THANK GOD for Code Switcher and Sherry McGuinn at Rogues’ Gallery for helping me fix that. And for believing in good faith that I’m not a pedophile. Just bad at pictures.
I think maybe I’d been watching K-Pop, and some of those artists are very thin and small. Anyway, yikes! I’m a klutz!
